Over the past few months, we have been closely monitoring the progress and development of the Optimism ecosystem and have been consistently impressed with the growth and innovation they’ve demonstrated, which ultimately led us to the question, should we launch on Optimism? In March, we took a positive step forward by applying for an Optimism grant. Our goal was not only to support their thriving ecosystem but also to reward our users for getting involved. Today, we are happy to share that we have received 75,000 OP tokens to boost our Optimism pools!
Distribution
So what’s next, and how do we plan on using these OP tokens?
Upfront OP Allocation:
We have received 40% of the OP tokens (30,000) upfront. These tokens will be distributed linearly across our OP grow pools: USDC, ETH, OP, and wstETH.
Conditional OP Allocation:
Upon achieving our critical milestones ($5 million TVL across all Vesper Optimism Pools OR 5,000 unique users who deposit into the pools), we will receive the remaining 60% of the OP tokens (45,000).
